“All photographs are accurate. None of them is the truth.”-Richard Avedon

Thank you Rahasya for nominating me.

This is for Day 1 of the 3 Day 3 Quotes Challenge.

Photographs are accurate because they capture everything within the frame of the camera- but they lack the ability to show what lies behind them.

A person may click photographs with different people, but the degree of their relationship may not be the same with one person in comparison to another, as it usually seems on the outside. Moreover, most people are smiling only for the sake of the camera, and they may have some struggles or problems that they are going through but have hidden.

The next time, before you envy someone for having flawless photographs, remember that they might be using certain filters to make their photos more appealing. And photographs are way different from the reality. For instance, a model featuring on the cover picture of the recent magazine has been photoshopped many times for this look.

It isn’t her.

I would like to nominate the following bloggers for the challenge:

  1. Paula Broome
  2. Shellie Troy Anderson
  3. Cheri Lucas Rowland’s

Rules for the challenge: On three consecutive days, make three blog posts about different quotes. Thank the person who nominated you and nominate three different bloggers per day of the challenge. Looking forward to your participation.
